Payment method

We take payment by credit card through Paypal which provides you with Paypal's buyer protection.  We add a 3.5% charge for this service.  For new clients we reduce this charge to 2%.   Otherwise we can take payment by bank transfer.  Once we have received your booking form we will send you a payment request.
The price is for the rental of the apartment.  It includes local taxes but it excludes end of stay cleaning and sheets and towels.

Sheets and towels
The apartments are equipped with pillows and duvets with additional blankets. You must bring your own sheets and towels for the rental. It might be possible to rent sheets and towels at a cost of 25euros per person however at this point it can not be gauranteed. The return of the security deposit is dependent on sheets and towels being used so please ensure you can bring your own.

Cleaning
Cleaning is not included in the above price. Cleaning products and materials are provided in the apartment. Apartments have to been cleaned at the end of your holiday and must be left ready for the next occupants. The return of the security deposit is dependent on the apartment being thoroughly cleaned ready for the next occupants. It may be possible to book cleaning at an additional cost. (£35 studio apartments £45 one bedroom apartments).

Arrival and departure times
Bookings run from 4pm on Saturday through until 11am on the following Saturday. There is some flexibility on this particularly if the apartment is vacated early but please email to ask.

Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit of £150/€180 is payable with the final payment. [The security deposit will be refunded to you at the end of your holiday, provided the apartment is left clean and tidy, that sheets have been used on the beds and upon safe return of the keys.]
Please note that in the event of damage to the apartment the deposit may be withheld and also your liability for damage is not limited to £150/€180.

Pets/smoking Deposit
The apartments are not suitable for pets and hence pets are not allowed. Likewise we ask that any smokers only smoke on the balconies of the apartments and not in the apartment. If an apartment smells of smoke at the end of the week then the security deposit will be withheld.

Cancellation (your part)
If you need to cancel your holiday then I will endeavour to re-let the apartment as soon as I have emailed confirmation of the cancellation. If the apartment is successfully let then amounts paid will be returned to you except for the initial deposit of £100 and less further costs of sale. If you have booked more than one apartment then £100 will be retained per apartment per week for cancellations and can not be offset against other bookings.

Cancellation (our part)
If, for reasons beyond our control (that is Force Majeure such as fire or flood affecting the building or its occupation), we are unable to let the apartment to you, then we will return any and all amounts paid for the rental of the apartment. We will inform you as soon as any situation arises. In addition we will endeavour to help you find alternative accommodation. However we do not accept liability for any travel costs or other costs incurred beyond the original rental amount.

Cancellation (Covid)
If the French authorities close the resort because of Covid then we will reimburse the apartment rental on a pro-rata basis for nights unused. If the resort is open and the apartment is available for occupation but you are thwarted from reaching the resort through restrictions imposed by your country of origination then the rental amount will not be refundable unless the apartment is re-let.

Insurance
It is a requirement of the booking that adequate ski holiday insurance must be taken out at the time of booking. Please check your policy covers you in the event you have to cancel the holiday. As the apartments are let out on a regular basis to clients we cannot guarantee the security of the apartments or the ski lockers and the best thing is to obtain adequate holiday insurance.
