Transfers from the airports

Tour operator buses: it is always worth going to one the tour operator desks at any of the airports - on a Saturday they will have transfers to Mottaret which are generally faster, cheaper and more convenient than the public buses

To organise a return with one of the tour operators either: 

• organise this when you buy your transfer to Mottaret at the airport or

• obtain the reps local telephone number at the airport or

• when in Mottaret you will see various holiday reps around on the central piste area - ask them when and where they have their "office hour" often this is in Le Rastro pub at about 6pm each evening

Generally the buses go via Moûtiers from where it often necessary to change buses.  This adds to the journey time making it longer and less convenient than getting a lift on a tour operator's coach.
