The following schools offer lessons from Mottaret and Meribel

It is generally advisable to book in advance if you know you want lessons.  It will help to ensure that you have lessons arranged for your first day.  Plus both Snow Systems and Magic in Motion only have offices down in Meribel and so lessons will have to be booked by phone or on the internet anyway unless you take the bus down to Meribel to visit their offices.

Lessons with Snow Systems and Magic in Motion both have lessons in English.  ESF can be unpredictable in this respect as most of their lessons are conducted in French.

The meeting points for all three ski schools in Mottaret are in the central piste area.  The meeting point for Snow Systems is just opposite the Mont Vallon Hotel and so it a snowball's throw from Olympie and Le Pralin. 

Young Children

• Located opposite Olympie I (entrance is within 20 metres)

• For children between 3 & 6 years old

• Indoor area and outdoor area 

• Ski lessons are provided by fully qualified ESF ski instructors

• Three different groups 

  • Age 3: P'tits Loups, 

  • Age 4: Ourson (Teddy Bear) & 

  • Age 5: Flocon (Snowflake)

• Hours 9:00am - 12:00am & 2:00pm - 5:00pm (though these times are flexible)

• Supervised lunch can also be provided 

• Equipment should be hired separately
