One of the first chalet residences to be built in the newer "Le Chatelet" part of Mottaret. The modern, under-floor heated interior is clad in traditional wood and stone.   

The apartments available to rent through this site are all together on the eighth floor.  The building faces west, each apartment having its own balcony with direct views over the ski slopes and also towards Mont Vallon.    

Location:  Possibly one of the best located chalets in the Three Valleys.

It is right next to the Plattières bubble lift towards Mt Vallon and Val Thorens.  It is then a few metres further on to the Plan du Lac lift directly to the top of Courchevel.   The  entrance is between La Brizolee restaurant and Ski Espace.      

On the ground floor of the Mont Vallon Hotel, Le Pralin, Olympie 1 and Plan du Lac is a parade of shops and restaurants and a supermarket.  This is the centre of the "Le Chatelet" part of Mottaret.

This part of Mottaret is car free as the road passes through a tunnel underneath the area emerging just by the supermarket in the bottom right of the phto .  There is then free parking just to the right of the photo.

The Tourist Office and the main centre of Mottaret with a number of further restaurants, bars and nightclub is on the other side of the central piste area.  Click on photo for larger image.

The various ski schools meet in the centre.  There are two main gondola/bubble lifts running to the peaks of either side of the valley.  There are then a further three chairs lifts running half way up the slopes.  There are two shorts drag lifts in either side for beginner runs.  As well as a rope lift for young children and first day beginners.
